Jasper International Academy Human Capital and Social Development.

The growth and development of future human and social capital in a country is inextricably linked to the quality of the education provided and the effectiveness of the education leadership.

In education we can measure outcomes in two ways: Quantitatively that is relating to measuring or measured by the quantity of something, rather than its quality (efficiency and numbers are at the base of quantitative measuring).  Qualitative data that is not numerical in nature but has a direct impact upon qualitative improvement (effectiveness of the teacher and learning environment).

So a simple analogy of this would be in Health Care you can have 100 patients suffering with exactly the same condition but the outcomes related to the patient can be completely different depending on a number of qualitative indicators not numerical measures.

The same principle can be applied to education when measuring or predicting student success.
